Fast Facts This popular species is purple overall with vertical stripes on the side, and varying amount of orange. This is a popular member of this genus that is typically not as aggressive as many of its relatives. As for all pygmy angels, live rock or a growth of filamentous algae may facilitate acclimation.

Sizes Most specimens are around 2"-3"
Range in Nature Indo Pacific

Minimum Aquarium Size 50 gallon

Diet and Feeding herbivorous, make sure you include lots of plant material in diet.

Reef Aquarium Compatibility Generally safe, but may nip at corals, clams, etc
