I just come across this forum (is it new) and thought I would join.

Im 30, live in Devon, and have had fish of 1 type or another since I was 8.. bless!!

Anyway, I know a fair bit, had reasonable success breeding the likes of Discus, and have a great Malawi show piece.
I also have a Discus tank, a dwarf American cichlid tank, and a general community...
As you can see Im fish mad


I had a 100g reef for the past 2 years, but I had a powercut at christmas and lost the lot, it was heartbreaking.

The power was off for 18 hours, I was at work for the first 12, so when I got home, the damage was done.
The tank was cold, there was no oxygen, and some dead fish.

The other tanks also fared badly, but I didnt lose all the stock.

Any way, I have emptied the reef out, and am thinking about a new project, which I will post about later.
